1. Acceptance of Terms

By clicking "I Agree" and creating an account with GILLS, you ("you" or "User") agree to these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

GILLS ("we", "us", "Service") provides a platform where users enter names, times, and other information (the "Data"), stored in a Supabase database. Some users may have access to Data submitted by others. The Service also integrates an AI-powered chatbot with access to the same database.

3. Privacy & Data Use

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use your Data—including personal information. You acknowledge that your Data may be accessed by both other users (as permitted) and our chatbot.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information at registration and maintain your password's confidentiality. You are responsible for all actions performed through your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Enter malicious, illegal or infringing Data; • Attempt unauthorized access to others' Data or system components; • Abuse or misuse the chatbot or system. We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

6. User‑to‑User Access

If your access permissions allow viewing or editing other users' Data, you must respect privacy and confidentiality. Misuse of this access is grounds for suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your Data. By using our Service, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to store, display, and process the Data as needed to operate the Service (including the chatbot). The chatbot-generated content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

8. Disclaimers & Liability Limits

The Service and chatbot are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties (express, implied, statutory). To the fullest extent permitted, we're not liable for any direct, indirect or incidental claims arising from your use of the Service or chatbot.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of ToS, misuse of Data or chatbot, or other improper conduct. Upon termination, your account access ends and stored Data may be deleted per our retention policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update this ToS. We'll post changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These ToS are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved in United States federal courts.
